Forums and Guestbooks
You may be interested in your visitors interacting or sharing information with you or other visitors to your web site.
Two common ways to facilitate this is by running either a Forum or a Guestbook.
Of the two, a guestbook is much less work to maintain. It really does not require you to respond in any way.
Your visitors just submit some comment or viewpoint and that comment is viewable on your site thru the guestbook. The Lookout Inn is a guestbook we modified to meet the list's requirements
A Forum on the other hand, is best to have a "moderator", someone knowledgeable about the forum subject. He/she or they would view the "posts" coming in and respond to these posts, thereby creating a dialogue on that subject, or even creating new subjects as visitor interest dictates. This is an excellent way to get visitors to keep coming back to your site as you are offering them something that they are interested in and something that changes quite regularly. The MX North Motocross is good example.
