Specialties: PHP Scripting

Most of today's web interactivity is accomplished by scripts being run either on the web server or your web browser. They accomplish everything from simple things like the mouse over effects right up to extremely complicated thing like running the web pages of the online banking of the major banks.

Clayrose focuses on PHP, AJAX and JavaScript to accomplish most of our clients interactivity needs with a strong leaning towards PHP.

PHP, working in concert with a MySQL database can be used to pull information out of that database and organize and present it on a web page for innumerable uses. Again examples are the best way to give one an idea of the power of PHP and MySQL.

Web Site Search Engine

Web Site Search EnginesLarge sites are often hard to navigate. Installing a search engine allows your users to easily find the information they are interested in.

Shopping Carts

Shopping CartsThe software allows online shopping customers to place items in the cart. Upon checkout, the software typically calculates a total for the order, including shipping and handling (i.e. postage and packing) charges and the associated taxes, as applicable.

Databases

Web Site Search EnginesWeb databases are used to both accept data from a web visitor (via a web form) or to pull data out to display on a web page based upon the desired criteria. For example someone may enter their name and email address in a web form to subscribe to a web newsletter, and this form data gets automatically entered into the site database to be used when the next newsletter is to be emailed.

Content Management Systems

Content ManagementMany of our clients now have the ability to control some or all of the content on their site. Using databases and forms, clients can now add, edit and delete the content of their site by accessing an administration panel on their website.

Clients have chosen to have their entire site controlled through a content management system, or have chosen to have certain areas of the site editable by themselves.
